Early Childhood

Our goal at the P.S.307 Early Childhood Academy is to develop the whole child in an atmosphere of acceptance. We encourage exploration and learning through play to enhance children’s natural curiosity. Children’s cognitive, emotional, expressive, receptive, social and physical needs are met on an individual level.

We believe in a developmental approach to early childhood education that nurtures each child and highlights their stage of readiness. Our 3K & PreK programs are one of the few schools in District 13 that includes both General Education and Special Education (Integrated Co-Teaching) classrooms.
